Firefighter Swipe Tool (Inward and Outward)

Firefighter Swipe Tool for Inward and Outward Opening Doors-Fire, EMS, Police:

This is the NEW Modified In&Out Firefighter Swipe Tool. It can be used on both inward AND outward opening doors.

The Firefighter Swipe Tool is an alternative way of gaining access without causing damage. Created by an FDNY Firefighter, The Firefighter Swipe Tool's design allows for more versatility and flexibility. The high-strength, bendable mylar makes this tool strong and flexible Quicker entry, less destruction.

Firefighter Swipe Tool (Inward and Outward)
Due to the extreme thinness to be able to easily fit around doors, please do not force the tool if you meet resistance. If you try to force it by pulling it through the lock hard, it will rip at the cutout. Practice makes perfect.

Swipe tool

This is a nice tool to have. This would be great for ems calls so you can quickly gain access without causing damage. I think every first responder should carry this tool.

Slightly underwhelmed

For outward swinging doors, I feel like it’s easier to use other tools like a Williams key or a shove knife. For inward swinging doors I had mixed success. If there is a big enough jam, I found using a Sparrows Flex Hallpass was easier to use. Maybe it was user error and I need more practice. For the price, it’s not a bad thing to have in your bag.

Thanks for your honest review. We have found that most times when there is trouble gaining access, on inward or outward doors, the loid pin is depressed.

Try applying some pressure on the door to close it or you might in some cases have to gap the door to release the loid pin. Gap can be gained with an air wedge on inward swinging doors.

Outward doors, 100% of the time I am going for shove knife or Williams Key.

Reach out with any questions. Thanks for review.

So simple

The swipe tool is the easiest, most basic step in respectful entry tools.
