Refund policy

If you would like to make a return, take a look at our policies below. We want to make sure you’re completely happy with your purchase. If there’s anything we can do to improve your experience, please contact us at support@coastalfiretraining.com.

 

Return Policy

We’ll accept return requests for items that are unopened, unused, with the original tags still intact. The product(s) must be in their original packaging, if applicable, in the same condition it was received.

We do not accept returns for perishable items, Stickers, gift cards, downloadable products, and/or products marked as final sale in product description.

If you wish to return your item, we must receive your unopened and undamaged product within 14 days of the date you received your item. Buyer is responsible for cost of shipping and 10% restocking fee on all returns.

Refunds

Once we receive your returned item, our team will review your request and inspect the item. We will send you an email to confirm that we’ve received your item and are processing your request. We’ll follow up with another email once the request has been processed to let you know if your return was approved.

If approved, the money will be refunded to your original method of payment within two weeks. All payment companies are different in the amount of time it takes to confirm a payment, so it will likely take a minimum of a few days for the refund to show up in your bank statement.

 

Exchanges

In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged or defective item, we’re happy to exchange the item for a new one. Please email support at:  support@coastalfiretraining.com within 30 days of receiving your product to begin the process.

 

Defective/Unacceptable Items 

If you receive any items that are defective or unacceptable you must contact us within 14 days of receiving the shipment. Pictures shall be submitted with an explanation of what item or items are defective and/or unacceptable. These shall be submitted to support@coastalfiretraining.com, which must include your order number.  If you do not send pictures with a description we will be unable to replace these items. Your purchase acknowledges your duties as customer to follow these steps for defective or unacceptable items. If you do not meet these requirements then you accept the items as delivered.  You also agree to not have a valid claim with your bank or credit card company regarding a chargeback because you did not notify Coastal Fire Training initially as stated in the terms of service.  Refunds will only be made after reviewing the claim and it being approved.  The refund will be made back to the customer once all items have been returned to Coastal Fire Training.

 

Return Shipping

After you’ve submitted a return request to support@coastalfiretraining.com, please affix a shipping label to to your package addressed to:

You are responsible for paying for the return shipping costs and a 10% restocking fee for all returns. We will deduct the cost of return shipping and restocking fee from your refund.

 

Final Sale Items

If the item is marked “final sale”, it does not qualify for a return and cannot be refunded.

 

Insurance

If you’re shipping an item over $75, consider purchasing shipping insurance to ensure it arrives. We can’t guarantee that we’ll receive your item. We are also not responsible for any damaged items caused during the return shipping process. 

 

Manufacturers Guarantee 

Please note that outside of our return and exchange policy some tools will be eligible for the manufacture Guarantee. In this case requests would need to be handled with the support staff of the product manufacturer.
